Compliance Program Effectiveness Assessment

Boerner Consulting uses its COMPLYMARK™ audit tool to provide a comprehensive independent review of the corporate compliance program through document review, interviews and an employee survey in order to assess the current structure of the program, evaluate the effectiveness of the operational components and processes as well as outcome measures.

Compliance Risk Assessment

Boerner Consulting works with the compliance officer to conduct a compliance risk assessment to identify and assess controls within 8-10 areas of regulatory compliance risk. This process will assist in prioritizing audits and/or establishing additional controls to mitigate compliance risk.

Compliance Maintenance Agreement

Boerner Consulting supports compliance officers with a compliance maintenance agreement which allows for bi-weekly calls for advisory services. This service allows for adding compliance projects and additional support services as needed throughout the year.

Revenue Integrity Government Audit Support

Boerner Consulting can provide the compliance department support by attending the organization’s internal compliance and revenue cycle integrity meetings. As compliance officer’s monitor findings, after appeals, from government audits, it is important to conduct reasonable diligence, as necessary, to determine whether there may be systemic overpayments.

Corporate Integrity Agreement Support

Boerner Consulting offers project management support for those under Corporate Integrity Agreements (CIA) to ensure compliance with all terms of the CIA. It can be overwhelming to be under a CIA and Boerner Consulting can assist with tracking and implementing the requirements as well as managing the relationship with the Independent Review Organization (IRO).
